  • Team members may ride together or separately, and do not need to finish together.

  • At least 3 riders on the same course must finish for prize eligibility.

FAQ’s

Q: Are there team discounts?

A: No team discounts offered.

Q: What is the maximum number of team participants?

A: You can have as many team members as you like; however, only the top 3 team finishers are scored.

Q: How are teams scored?

A: Riders receive a point value based on their finish place (e.g 4 points for fourth place). The team with the lowest score wins. Teams must have at least 3 riders cross the finish line and the team’s score is the total of their top 3 finishers point values.

Q: Can I do a team relay?

A: No, all riders must ride the full course; however, team members may drop out of the race but at least three riders must cross the finish line to be prize eligible.

Q: Are there age group categories?

A: No. There are no separate categories. All GRVL® Femmes Teams compete against each other.

Q: Can Pro women compete?

A: Only if they are registered in the amateur category for the team competition. Riders are only eligible for prizes in one category.

Q: What if some of the team members get selected via the Random Selection and others don’t?

A: We have reserved spots so that all GRVL Femmes participants will be accepted into the event via the Random Selection process.

Q: If I place as a GRVL Femmes rider and I win my age group, will I get prizes for both?

A: No. You will be removed from the age group results and your result only counts towards GRVL® Femmes.

Q: Where do I put my team name? Does everyone on the team need to put the team name in when they register?"

A: There will be a required question during registration and you will enter your team name in the text box. There is also a "Team Name" field within the registration information and you can put it there if you wish (not required)..

Q: Do we all have to register at the same time?

A: No, you can register and pay for your entry separately, just be sure to add your team name when you answer the required question. However, all team members must register during either the early registration window or via the random selection process. One member cannot create a team and then “save” spots for others to register later in the year.

Q: Can our team participate in different courses?

A: No. You must all do the same course, i.e. Black, Blue, Red, or Green.
