Cheers To New Year and GRVL in 2024

A Toast To The New Year

The dust has settled on 2023 and while our champagne gravel roads lie dormant under a fresh blanket of snow, 2024 is shaping up to be the finest GRVL vintage yet. With new routes around Routt county, we're looking forward to getting even more riders on gravel this year to experience the community and joy that we've created here in Steamboat.

We've Got Even More In Store for 2024

Twenty twenty-three was our most exciting year on record and we're thrilled to share what we have in store for 2024.

2023 saw the debut of our documentary The Meaning of Ride, which recently landed on Outside Watch's list of top streaming picks. We saw a wide range of press attention ranging from Reggie Miller's account of his physical and mental battle to cross the finish line to Duffman's breaking of the internet following our inaugural HLL CLMB. Oh yeah!

As we look ahead to 2024 we're proud to welcome another sold out field of 3,000 participants, representing all 50 states, 31% female athletes, returning champions, more countries, more first time gravel riders, more para cyclists, more juniors, more veterans and an impressive age range of 8 to 80 years. SBT GRVL presented by Wahoo will be our most memorable year to date.

Advocacy Partnerships Continue

SBT Across The Country

  • We're expanding our On The Road ride program and traveling to communities across the country to connect with riders and raise money for advocacy partners. We'll share our final dates in the coming weeks that will include the following destinations: Tucson, New York, Los Angeles, and Monterey with an added stop in Philadelphia.

GRVL Around The Globe

  • 2023 was the year that GRVL went global and 2024 expands upon that trajectory. We're excited to launch our first event Down Under with sold-out RADL GRVL in Australia on January 19. On June 15th we will welcome 1,000+ riders to FNLD GRVL.
